Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The village car park opposite and by the church might as well be their own and was almost empty. The building has loads of olde worlde charm and excellent shared kitchen/dining. Plenty of room for our chilled lunch stuff in the fridge despite the house being full. There are some restaurants nearby and at least 1 proper supermarket just down the road. The drive over the hill to the coast town was very nice. Shower in the private bathroom was fine, as was the bed. The village and road outside are both really quiet.

Negative: With the olde worlde charm comes very low windows you can barely see out of, low light and low beams. There are no ameneties in the village so you need transport, or too take food there.

Summary: Great stop off in easy reach of the ferries next morning
