Summary: The hotel is charming and old-fashioned and very centrally located — only a 20 minute walk or so from Temple Bar and quite close to a number of restaurants, convenience stores, and groceries. They have 24-hour front-desk service and restricted access to the lobby, which makes the property feel wonderfully safe, and the staff were so kind and accommodating in every possible way. It's a family-owned business and you can really tell that they all care very much about the guests and their comfort. My room was very reasonably sized for one person and probably could even have fit two, and it was well-maintained and clean throughout. Overall I was extremely pleased with my stay and would recommend it particularly for solo travelers or pairs!
