This gorgeous house is a secluded 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom country home with private pond nestled in the base of the stunning Canones Creek Valley. Relax on the porch or dock and enjoy sprawling views of 75 private acres of magnificent mountain valley. Visitors to the property enjoy frequent wildlife sightings including grazing elk and deer, coyotes, the occasional muskrat on the pond, hawks and various migratory birds. This cozy country home includes a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, comfortable family living room, "kid's" bedroom with 2 twin beds and 1 queen bed, "guest" bedroom with queen bed and private bath, and master bedroom with 1 king bed, walk-in closet and washer/dryer setup. The area is perfect for those wishing for a relaxing retreat to 'get away from it all' and adventurers alike. Summary: The home is wonderfully cozy and so much fun for families. We loved sitting in front of the gas fireplace each evening, playing badminton, and the kids paddled around in the boats left by the dock. We stayed the week of Thanksgiving, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need for a Thanksgiving meal. There is a large closet upstairs that is fully stocked with games and toys for younger kids- truly something for every age range. This house feels like going home. The host was very kind and accommodating. She made everything so easy and comfortable. Would highly recommend this property!
