Positive: We had an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again! It was my second time and Kijani and my family's first time. Tina and Lavender at reception went above and beyond to make sure we were as comfortable as possible - we requested a pedestal fan for the bathroom of one of our rooms as it felt a little stuffy after a shower, and they delivered it to our room within 15 minutes, and anytime we requested ice or a snack it was delivered to us promptly. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional - particularly Steven and Sipi. They provide a daily turn down service which is very useful to keep the mosquitos out. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the decor is charming. The pool and garden areas are also lovely - we enjoyed our time at the hotel as much (if not more) than at the beach. We were in rooms 4 and 5. Room 4 is more spacious but both rooms were very comfortable and included massive verandas with a very sturdy hanging bed that was great to relax on. The food is also delicious and there are a variety of lovely spots to dine in, besides the rooftop restaurant. The cherry on the cake are all the tortoises (big and small) that really add to the overall charm of the place.
Negative: Nothing we didn't like! The only tiny bit of feedback is that room 5 could perhaps use an extra lamp in the evening to provide a bit more lighting but it wasn't really a big issue for us and I'm sure if we had requested one it would have been provided.
