Positive: Wildlife, quietness, outdoor area was magical.Beautiful sunsets. Beds were very comfortable. Good size fridge.
Negative: Every available space filled with owners vintage finds and collections. These were lovely to look at, but left no where for our things, particularly in the kitchen and bathroom. We moved a few things so we could have bench space and not knock over valuables. Fabulous dining table, but only 4 can sit at tv, two on a very small, uncomfortable leather couch. Bedrooms were lovely but again, cluttered bedside tables, lamps didn't work in one room and no hanging space in cupboard. On a separate note, after calling to confirm size of fridge for our Christmas food, the real estate lady told me it only had a bar fridge and stove top, and was just a 2 bedroom studio! This had me freakingout, had I booked the wrong place? So we stayed in Melbourne for Christmas day instead, driving down boxing day to find it completely what I originally had booked. In summary, a fabulous location, especially if the weather is nice to get outside, or you just want to read in bed! Definitely not suitable for young children. 10 minute drive to local store for food. Great for bird watching, and closeness to Wilson's Prom or Fish Creek. Nowhere to walk once outside of house area, due to gravel road.
