Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Very friendly, helpful staff; clean and well kept. The location means it’s very quiet and it represents good value for money. The pool and surrounding beds are a nice place to stay and the facilities in the cottage were good; we were well looked after.

Negative: The location means it’s quite a long way from anywhere else and it takes time and money for vehicles to get to you and get you anywhere. The staff didn’t initially take into account that my wife was vegetarian but offered some nuts as ways of apology later on in our stay. The bed was not comfortable: I had to spend the last night on the sofa to preserve my back. Finally, I was astonished at the amount of water poured on the grounds in such an arid area: water is a precious resource, please preserve it more responsibly!

Summary: Sheba is excellent value for money and away from the Diani bustle, with helpful staff and a lovely setting.
