Surrounded by limestone mountains on one side and the sea on the other, Bishops Quarter sandy beach and our family farm are only 1km away. The village has a supermarket, convenience store, restaurants, pubs, tea room, coffee shops, walking trails and one of the oldest caves in Ireland, The Aillwee Cave. Childminder and farm tours are available upon request.

Summary: We spent the month of July at the Core House in Ballyvaughan. It was amazing. The home has everything you need for a comfortable home base for seeing the sights of the Wild Atlantic Way and Tara was responsive when we had questions/issues. We also found the small town to be charming and the Guinness to be cold. We especially enjoyed meeting Margaret, the bartender (probably grossly underselling her role) at O'laclainn pub - highly recommend.
