Summary: I had not noticed the small print text at the bottom of the booking confirmation that there are no front desk staff onsite at this property. Was able to get the code to enter the assigned room by calling the hotel phone number. Up about 14 somewhat uneven stairs to the room, which was nicely modernized and very clean. However the floor in my room had a significant slope to it, so much so that I had to securely plant one foot in the shower to avoid slipping and falling. Property is very centrally located just off one of the main streets so it was easy to find several options for meals.
