Summary: I stayed at this hotel back in the 1990s several times. The last time before this visit was in 2001. I used to consider this an upper scale hotel. But it has become run down and shabby in appearance. It seems that very little effort is being made to maintain this property. Attention to little things are being ignored or missed: loose fixtures, evidence of wear and tear that are not being addressed. We had a room with a king bed, but the blanket was clearly not made for a bed that large. Non functioning elevators. The one operable elevator was slow, loud, and seemed unsafe.
