Summary: The hosts are so generous and helpful. They gave us guest cards for our stay that had free bus rides into town, and even drove us in one day when we missed the bus. They even gave us Christmas gifts! We felt so welcomed by them. We didn't speak much of the same language but were able to communicate successfully with translation apps. The area is quite remote so our phone reception was a little spotty but not too much of an issue.
