Summary: We like bed and breakfasts because we usually get to engage with owners and other guests. The owner was lovely, and there was a very good on-site restaurant. We arrived early and had lunch and dinner there. Breakfast was not the gourmet meal others reviewers described because the owner needed surgery, and in fact, we were asked to leave an hour and a half early. Our impression of the interior of the house was that there was so much stuff (so-called "antiques" and memorabilia) that no flat surface existed, none. You bumped into things everywhere you went and had to move five things to put something down. We were only there one night, so we lived out of our suitcases, but I don't know where someone would put their clothes for a longer stay. Although the rooms were clean, all the stuff was dusty.
