Summary: The unit is a quiet tucked away room amongst what looks like an older motel that has been refurbished as individual updated units. The gardens were lovely and the place was clean. I was surprised how great the location was in terms of being able to walk 10 minutes to a beach and 20 minutes to the main downtown area of shops in Harwich Port. It’s important to read the amenities list as there is no kitchen (mini fridge and microwave included). Also the host does offer beach chairs and pool towels. I discovered several days into my stay that there is a “common room” that offers filtered water, ice and coffee, which is a lovely touch. The pool was refreshing and the New England cool nights allowed us to keep all our windows open and to never have to use the window AC unit. I’d recommend this place for its location, cleanliness and safe and quiet surroundings.
